Do I need an architect for an extension?

There is no legal obligation to employ an architect. To get planning permission the council planning department require clear and accurate plans and elevations of the existing building and proposed changes.

Do you manage planning applications?

Yes, we can manage the entire planning application process, preparing and submitting all documents for you.

We submit your complete plans within 3–4 weeks. However if required we can submitted final plan sooner than 3 weeks subject to availability. Most councils aim to decide in about eight weeks after validation, though timelines can vary.
